Prof Victor van Reijswoud PhD

Victor is a recognized researcher and information systems consultant. His main activities focus on the areas of Knowledge management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Appropriate ICT for Development. He has worked as professor and researcher at universities in The Netherlands, USA, South Africa, Cameroon, Uganda, Burundi and Papua New Guinea. He is currently based in Greece and operates as independent Management and Information Systems advisor and evaluator. He can be reached at: victor@mis4d.com.

Arjan de Jager MSc

Arjan (Mr) is a leading ICT4D expert with more than 25 years experience in Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania. He is specialized project design and management of complex projects in highly sensitive multi-cultural environments. Arjan worked as information management advisor with the PBLQ/HEC, information manager for the Free University in Amsterdam and currently he is responsible as Strategic Information Advisor Youth Care in Municipality of Amsterdam (http://www.iamsterdam.com/en-GB) for the ICT development of all social programmes such as the transition of the youth care system from central government to the municipality. Deem Vermeulen MSc

Deem (Mr) has extensive experience with the development and implementation of projects and programmes in Eastern Africa and the horn of Africa and with the general management of organisations. After spending 5 years in Zambia, he joined IICD in 2002. Till 2006 he was responsible for ICT4D projects and programmes of NGOs and government departments in the sectors of health, education, governance and livelihoods in Uganda and Zambia. From 2006 till 2011 he headed, as member of the senior management team, the department of International Programmes of the same organization. He was responsible for knowledge sharing and development and implementation of strategic agreements. Since 2011 he is operating as an independent development consultant with a special interest in ICT4D. Deem resides in the Netherlands and can be reached at deem@mis4d.com.

Chris Kasangaki

Chris (Mr) has almost 20 years experience in the implementation of information systems in general and financial systems in particular. He is recognized leader and promoter for Free and Open Source Software for community development and micro-finance. He has long been the driving force in the East African Center for Open Source Software and is now team leader of the Community Open Software Solutions Network. Chris is based in Uganda and can be reached at: chris@mis4d.com or chris@cossnet.org

Rachael Kadama

Rachael has more than 15 years professional experience and lessons in ICT for development in the developing world, she is a knowledgeable and skilled strategist, project manager, trainer and consultant in delivering IT projects and managing information and data in complex and quickly changing environments. Her strengths lie at the intersection of technology, information (content) and people.
She is a technology and self-improvement enthusiast who is always looking out for those apps that increase her productivity, improve organisational productivity, harness content and foster collaboration between teams.
She has participated and developed monitoring systems and frameworks over a number of sectors including, ICT, education and energy, which has given her an understanding of the importance of harnessing information to manage results and deliver impact in sectors. She has worked with grass root communities in remote areas of Uganda; community-based organisations, development partners like UNICEF, USAID, World Bank, private sector and Governments, therefore, understands the diverse approaches needed for stakeholders as well as the detail needed to get them to work together.
Rachael lives and works in Uganda, however, her work and experience are drawn from assignments carried out in East and Southern Africa as well as Asia and Europe.
